Keagungan Seni Ukir Melayu

Right now, i'm sprawling on my bed in Pulai Spring Resort Pulai Johor. What a beautiful place. I'm arranging a meeting here. It was the State who choose this place.
If i'm not mistaken, Pulai Spring resort is newly built. (2-3 years ago) --> i've check. It is actually 12 yrs old. However, the young age of this resort did not deter it to win a few international awards. Among those is the best golf course in the world!.
What i'm really impressed is the magnificent hand-craft wood all over the area. The building are beautifully crafted. I think, no palace in Malaysia is as beautiful as it's building. Ampun tuanku andai kata-kata patik membawa kemurkaan tuanku.
When i went to the meeting room which is known as the Kayangan Suite, i looked around the area. At the isle where i stood, i felt like i was in the old age or even like the zaman keagungan kesultanan melayu. The music, the mood, the beautiful paintings on the wall ( a couple dancing the kuda kepang and 2 lovebirds). Not to missed the grand teak wood door with the keris-crafted handles.
i think my jaw hurt a bit sbb melopong sangat mulut. and i keep saying out aloud to my staff : cantiknya tempat nih.....perhaps, tomorrow i will place some picture here.
need to get ready for tomorrow's meeting. chiow.

It's Thursday!!

i have 2 meetings this afternoon; on highways /toll and our online service. My bos asked me to accompany her and our heads of department inclusive The Dato' to present our issues. All is set. I'M READY FOR IT. Unfortunately, since the 'big brother' is so very important, it scares me a bit ( eventhough my functions is only to make sure that everything is ready). hahahahaha.
It's Thursday. For some, there's no much different between Thursday and the rest of the days. But for me, it is quite a 'menyampah' day becoz i need to wear batik. Those who do not have Baju batik, or had never seen one.... i tell you! It's very challenging to wear a batik not to mention to buy one.
I'm not talking about 'kain batik' which cost you RM8-15. Batik sutera mencekik darah sikit. Of course there are cheaper batik sutera in the market. But mind you, once you wash it... than Assalamualaikum goodbye laa baju tu.
I have 5 sets of batiks. 1- the typical sutera batik terengganu, 2- chiffon + silk batik of Nor Arfa (brand yang cukup gah di Terengganu), 3- kebaya labuh kain batik which i bought when I was Sarawak ( actually, i'm looking for selendang batik , memandangkan baju tu dah ada set skali ngan selendang... beli ajer) , 4 - Sutera batik in my younger years aka zaman kurus yang mana skrang ni dah simpan jer sbb tak muat sebab GEM_ _, and 5 - a blouse with batik printing.
I started to iron my no 1 batik at 7.00 am. by 7.20--the kain is still wrinkle. Fed up betul. itu baru kain jer... belum gosok baju lagi. Jadiknya, i decided to wear another batik. a simple kain batik and a white blouse which need not ironing. Wallah! 5 minit jer siap.
It seems, starting nxt month, i 'll have to buy a set of batik for my own good. any idea in choosing an easy to iron batik sutera?

the flyboys

yesterday, the house turned into office. My dearest hubby kena sakit gigi. psttt...pstttt sepanjang malam. Didn't talk to me. Frustrated bcoz i thought 'hangin' dia dah datang. :). Sorri abah.

As i berebut remote control astro ngan harith (by the way, harith is my only son; for now) i switched on channel 412 (rasanya) film the flyboys. A true story about a bunch of american boys went to france for war. they became fighter pilot. a great story, not to be missed. actors including best pren spider man and john reno (yer ke nama dia cemtu). pi laa tengok citer tu. i'm not a film critic, & not good in analysing. yang saya tahu citer dia memang best. tengok jangan tak tengok.....

kasih ibu...

collegues semua dah gone to their baiti jannati. alone in the office. Mula laa dok terfikir2 about life. and at this very moment, i miss mum. she's 65 ( i'm the 7th in the family). Quite a number aaa.
being a mother myself, i always wonder how did she went through the whole process in raising us up. 9 of us. tak masuk lagi sepupu sepapat n anak2 sedara yang menumpng skali kat umah kitorang. being a single mother, she's the greatest mother in the world. and it saddened me God know how long we will be together in this alam fana nih.
Mum is not like typical mother : she raised us in try -error process. Back then, she dont have anyone to turn to, her parents far away in kampung, her siblings are all orang susah.... she turn to us and she did whatever she think appropriate. With no money, no job and alot of kids, she managed. Tu la.... sometime when a single mother sigh in pain how difficult life is , my mum appeared.and i'll say: kalau u rasa hidup u susah... ada orang yang hidupnya lebih susah. for that , u must be very gratefull to God Allah Swt.

Again...

Once , about 2 years ago, I started my so-called blog. however, sadly, after 2 entries i stop due to challenges /obstacles ahead of me. hahahaha. Alasan! Do not know what prompt me to write again. More or less jeles ngan kenkawan. masing-masing ada blog, diri sendiri bila lagi kaaaaann?
I would really like to write down and share my thoughts, experience as well as my feeling with those interested. Surely my husband will read it because of desakan bertubi2 from his beloved wife. :)
